Do files leave my device?
No. The converter application reads and transforms selected file contents in your browser. PDF Converter does not receive or store those file contents.
What usage data does the site count?
Website analytics loads by default and measures page visits and related browser, device, and network information. PDF Converter does not send files, filenames, converted results, PDF passwords, feedback messages, account email addresses, or payment details to website analytics.
Is there a fixed file-size limit?
There is no single site-wide numeric limit. Practical file size, image dimensions, PDF page count, and batch size depend on the memory available to your browser and device.
Which browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari support the core browser APIs used by most tools. Format support still varies: HEIC decoding is especially dependent on the browser and operating system.
Why does my HEIC file fail?
The current HEIC tools rely on the browser to decode the image. If your browser or operating system does not expose HEIC decoding, the conversion cannot start. Try an up-to-date Safari environment or a compatible source format.
Which TIFF files are supported?
The current decoder supports a limited subset of uncompressed 8-bit RGB or grayscale TIFF files. Multipage TIFF, uncommon compression, CMYK, and higher bit depths may fail.
Does TIFF to SVG create vector paths?
No. It places the decoded TIFF raster inside an SVG container. The image remains pixel-based and can pixelate when enlarged.
Does SVG to PDF keep vectors editable?
No. The current converter renders each SVG to an image before placing it on a PDF page. The PDF contains a rasterized representation rather than the original vector paths.
Does PNG to GIF preserve transparency?
Not in the current static GIF encoder. Transparent PNG pixels may be flattened or mapped to an opaque palette color.
What is the difference between PNG to GIF and Animated GIF Maker?
PNG to GIF converts one image into a static GIF. Animated GIF Maker combines multiple images and provides frame delay, loop, and ordering controls.
How do I protect important work?
Keep the original file, check the downloaded result before deleting anything, and avoid processing sensitive material on shared or untrusted devices.
What should I try if conversion fails?
Confirm the source opens normally, reduce file dimensions or batch size, refresh the page, and try an up-to-date browser. Format-specific limitations are shown on the tool directory and tool page.
