Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By using PDF Converter, creating an account, or purchasing credits or Pro, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use the service only for lawful documents and purposes.

2. Local file processing

Converter tools process selected file contents in your browser. We do not intentionally receive or store source or result file contents. You remain responsible for file rights, lawful use, output review, device security, and backups. Browser-based conversion can fail or produce differences, so verify important results before relying on them.

3. Accounts

Google sign-in is used to create and access an account. Keep your Google account secure and notify us of suspected misuse. We may suspend an account used for fraud, abuse, attacks, unlawful content, payment disputes, or attempts to interfere with service limits. Administrators may correct plan or credit records when required for support, refunds, or fraud response, and those changes are logged.

4. Credits and tool costs

Credits are a limited license to use eligible service features; they are not money, stored value, transferable property, or redeemable for cash. A new Free account receives 1 promotional credit and uses an ad-supported experience. Standard conversions cost 1 credit; Merge, Split, Rotate, and Flatten cost 2; Protect, Unlock, Compress, and Redact cost 3. Purchased credits currently do not expire, but accounts may be closed under these terms.

5. Purchases, subscriptions, and promotions

Payments are processed in USD by our payment provider. The 10-credit pack costs $12.90 once, the 50-credit subscription costs $49.90 per month, and Unlimited costs $99.90 per month before applicable tax. Each successfully paid 50-credit subscription invoice adds 50 credits; failed or unpaid invoices add none. While Unlimited is active, eligible successful tool use does not deduct credits. Subscription access or recurring credit delivery continues until cancellation takes effect through the available account billing controls.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

Except where law requires otherwise, consumed credits and completed digital credit delivery are non-refundable. Contact support promptly if a purchase was duplicated or not delivered. Approved refunds or chargebacks may remove corresponding unused credits and Unlimited access. Your statutory cancellation or consumer rights are not limited where they cannot legally be waived.

7. Email communications

We may send transactional messages about registration, security, purchases, account support, or material service changes. Marketing messages require opt-in and include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary transactional messages.

8. Prohibited use

• Do not process material you lack the right to use.
• Do not use the service to evade passwords, access controls, sanctions, or law.
• Do not automate abusive traffic, interfere with the service, or manipulate payment, credit, email, or activity records.
• Do not claim that a conversion result is legally certified unless separately verified by an authorized provider.

9. Availability and disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, continuous availability, and error-free output. External providers that support sign-in, payments, email, analytics, and service operations may be unavailable or change their terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Converter and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, lost files, corrupted output, or business interruption arising from use or inability to use the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as products, pricing, providers, or law change. Material changes will be identified by the date above and, when appropriate, communicated to account users. Questions can be sent to support@freepdfjpg.com.
