File contents stay on your device

PDF Converter tools read and transform selected files inside your browser. PDF Converter does not receive, store, or review the source file, filename, or converted file. Downloaded results remain on your device until you remove them.

Accounts and Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, the sign-in provider shares the basic profile information needed to create and access your PDF Converter account, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use it to provide your account, plan, credit balance, and support. We do not receive your Google password.

Credits and payments

We retain the purchase and account records needed to deliver credits, maintain subscriptions, provide receipts, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and resolve support or billing questions. Payments are handled by a trusted payment provider; PDF Converter does not store full card details.

Email and marketing records

We send account, support, purchase, and optional marketing messages through an email delivery provider. We keep the records needed to manage delivery, preferences, and support. Marketing messages are sent only after opt-in and include an unsubscribe method. A welcome email is an account message and may include an offer.

Feedback submissions

If you use the feedback form, PDF Converter sends the category, rating, page or tool name, message, and optional reply email you provide for delivery to our support mailbox. Do not include source files, converted files, or confidential document contents in a feedback message.

Feedback is delivered to our support team and may be processed by our email provider. You can avoid this processing by not using the form.

Temporary browser file handoff

When you choose a file on the homepage or in the conversion workspace, the browser temporarily saves it in this site's browser so the workspace or selected tool can receive it after navigation. It is removed after handoff or a short expiry period. It remains on your device and is not uploaded to PDF Converter.

Service activity

We maintain aggregate service activity totals to understand overall product use and present conversion milestones. These totals do not contain source files, filenames, converted files, passwords, or account emails.

Local ratings

If you rate a converter, the selected 1–5 value is stored only in your browser. It is not submitted to PDF Converter or presented as an aggregate customer rating.

Essential cookies and browser storage

Signed-in users receive an essential session cookie for up to 30 days. If you acknowledge the Cookie notice, we remember that choice for up to one year so the notice does not appear on every visit. Choosing “Not now” closes it only for the current visit. Browser storage is also used for temporary file handoff and on-device ratings as described above.

Google Analytics

Website analytics loads by default to help us understand page visits and improve the service. It may process page, referral, approximate location, browser, device, language, and network information. We do not send selected files, filenames, converted results, PDF passwords, Feedback messages, account email addresses, or payment details to website analytics.

Analytics may use cookies according to the provider's policies. The Cookie notice is informational and does not prevent or delay analytics loading. You can use browser cookie controls, private browsing, tracking protection, or content-blocking extensions to block or clear analytics independently.

Your browser controls

• Clear this site's storage to remove any temporary handoff record or local rating.
• Use browser privacy or cookie controls if you want to block or clear Google Analytics storage.
• Use a private browsing window if you do not want local preferences retained after the session.
• Use Account settings or an email unsubscribe link to change marketing preferences.
• Ask support to access or delete account records, subject to payment, fraud, tax, and legal retention duties.

Security and limitations

Local processing reduces exposure of file contents, but no website, browser, or device is completely risk-free. Keep backups of important files, use an up-to-date browser, and avoid processing sensitive material on shared or untrusted devices.
